I’m so excited to share Liam’s Noah's Ark nursery reveal with you! I’d been envisioning this theme for a few years as a possibility and decided it was perfect when we found out we were having our rainbow baby! I wanted to do a subtle Noah’s Ark theme, so it didn’t get too cheesy, and thus focused on lots of animals, Bible verses, nods to The Ark, and a few rainbows too!
Lisa from Lisa Lefevre Photography came to our home for this shoot, and we love how it turned out!
I wanted the room to feel light, airy, and uplifting when you walk in — emulating the feeling of God’s love! I wanted it to include heart-warming scripture to remind Liam who God is and who He calls him to be! I also wanted the room to invoke a sense of wonder and adventure with lots of cuddly animals and sweet, character building books! The subtle rainbows are a reminder of God’s covenant, and are also a reminder of God’s goodness in gifting us Liam after losing our first sweet baby in January 2023. I included a Moses basket for his changing table to continue with the Bible theme too!
His crib sheets and bedding are from Target and the theme was called “Two by Two”, again a nod to Noah’s Ark, which I thought was so neat! I just had to get them. The wall boat-shaped basket was also from Target and was perfect for holding the Cuddle + Kind dolls I was envisioning!
I hope you enjoyed learning the meaning behind everything in Liam’s Noah’s Ark nursery reveal! Overall, I was able to design his room on a reasonable budget. Most things came from Target, IKEA, Amazon, and Etsy. It was so fun putting this room together for our little Liam Brooks! What’s your favorite part?
