Lina's Bio:

My name is Allina Robie. I’ve served as an advocate and caregiver for children orphaned or deprived of parental care in the Zakarpattia oblast of western Ukraine since January 2022. I partner with a local Ukrainian organization called Shade for Children. Together, we work with orphanages, Social Services, and churches to advocate for children within the institution system. In pursuit of reform within the Ukrainian orphan care system, which currently relies heavily on large institutions, we (the Shade for Children team) are filling a missing piece of the puzzle by creating a private small group home in Zarkarpattia oblast.
